Hot Tub & Above-Ground Pool Removal

Old hot tub taking up space? Above-ground pool you’re ready to get rid of? Rodeo Junk Removal provides full-service hot tub and above-ground pool removal across Southern Middle Tennessee, Middle Tennessee, and North Alabama with free on-site estimates, upfront pricing, and all the heavy lifting handled for you.

These removals are big, bulky, and awkward—exactly the kind of job most homeowners don’t want to tackle. We’ll break it down as needed, haul everything off, and leave the area clean so you can actually use your backyard again.

  • Fully insured & professional crew
  • Free on-site estimate (final pricing confirmed in person)
  • Upfront all-in price (you approve before we start)
  • Full-service teardown + haul-off (as quoted)
  • Quick cleanup of the work area

Hot tubs must be disconnected before removal. Draining (hot tub or pool) is optional—we can drain it, but it may affect the price.

What We Remove

We can remove the hot tub/pool itself and common surrounding clutter that comes with it:

  • Old hot tubs and spas
  • Above ground pool walls and frames
  • Pool liners and covers
  • Pool pumps, filters, hoses, and accessories
  • Pool ladders, steps, and rails
  • Hot tub covers and cover lifters
  • Broken panels, trim, and teardown debris
  • Misc. backyard cleanup debris related to the removal (as quoted)

If your setup includes attached decking, heavy framing, or electrical/plumbing connections, tell us during scheduling so we can plan the estimate correctly.

Before We Remove a Hot Tub or Pool

Power (hot tubs):

  • Electrical must be disconnected before removal. Hot tubs need to be safely disconnected from electricity prior to pickup. If you’re unsure what’s needed, ask and we’ll point you in the right direction.

Draining (optional for both):

  • Draining is optional for hot tubs and above-ground pools. If it’s already drained, great. If not, we can drain it for you, but it may affect the price due to extra time and handling.

Chemicals (pools):

  • We can remove pool chemicals as part of your pickup. Please keep them in their original containers, sealed, and not leaking, and let us know what you have (type and approximate amount). Handling chemicals may affect the price due to proper transport and disposal requirements.

If you’re not sure what needs to be done first, we’ll go over it during the estimate.

What Affects the Price of Hot Tub & Pool Removal?

Pricing depends on size, teardown complexity, access, weight, and cleanup conditions. We keep it straightforward and explain it clearly during the free on-site estimate.

Size & type of unit

A small spa costs less than a large hot tub or full above ground pool setup. Size and material affect labor and haul-off.

Teardown complexity

Some removals are simple, while others require more teardown, cutting, or breaking down bulky parts before loading.

Access & labor

Tight gates, stairs, slopes, long carries, and difficult backyard access affect time and crew effort.

Weight & debris volume

Waterlogged materials, heavy framing, and large debris piles can increase labor and disposal costs.

Cleanup conditions

Overgrowth, storm damage, broken parts, muddy ground, or mixed debris can slow removal and affect pricing.

We’ll explain the price in plain language so it makes sense. Final pricing is confirmed in person during the free on-site estimate, and you approve it before we start.
